As a scientist turned product designer, I bring a unique blend of scientific rigor and creative problem-solving to the design table.
My professional life began as a biomedical scientist, where I spent years researching and developing diagnostics. Alongside this scientific pursuit, a passion for design simmered within me. This passion eventually led me to co-found Sentiv, a health and wellness startup. It was a chance to test the waters of entrepreneurship while applying design thinking to the healthcare field.
Although Sentiv eventually failed, my experience as a founder solidified the desire to bridge the gap between the complexities of healthcare and the everyday needs of individuals. It showed me the power of design to make healthcare more accessible and engaging, ultimately putting people in control of their own wellbeing.
That experience also gave me the confidence to pursue a career in product design. Today, I'm able to bring together my scientific and design thinking in crafting solutions that are practical and impactful.
